There were 12,000 hungry Wyomingites in line for the annual Cheyenne Frontier Days Pancake Breakfast starting at 6 a.m. on July 22. While people waited for their cowboy coffee’s, flapjacks & ham, The “28 Carcinogens” Event Tour talked to folks one-on-one about the harmful effects of chewing tobacco. We encouraged tobacco users to sign up for the Wyoming Quit Tobacco Program, because quitting isn’t easy. But it’s definitely better with support, which is what you’ll find at the QuitLine. Judging by the number of people willing to sign up for the Quit Program and take the first step in quitting tobacco, the event was a monster success. And the pancakes? Sweet clouds of heaven.
